Bring the kitchen, dining and family space together beside the indoor pool. Turn the old kitchen into a utility, with a new route through the former pantry beneath the stairs.
Before A narrow kitchen sits beside separate dining and office spaces, with the indoor pool behind.
After Combine the dining room and office, taking a little width from the old kitchen, to create a 35.71 m² kitchen, dining and family room. An island, dining table and sofa each have their own place.
Pool connection
Open the family room onto the pool room.
After A wide glazed opening connects the new kitchen and sitting space to the indoor pool. The pool remains a separate enclosed room, with its changing, sauna and equipment spaces retained.
Utility
Give the former kitchen a new job.
After Reduce the old kitchen’s width slightly and turn it into a 6.40 m² utility. Laundry and household jobs stay out of the family kitchen.
A direct route
Use the space beneath the stairs.
After Open a route from the entrance hall through the former pantry and beneath the stairs to the utility. The former pantry area is shown as 2.79 m².
Retained The front sitting room and drawing room remain separate. The upper-floor layout is outside this proposal.
Scope Ground-floor plans and model only, with an indicative upper-storey envelope. The curved pool follows the listing photographs; dimensions, roof details and surroundings are approximate.
